Oh my.  I love this tablet.  I mean, my Genius brand G-Pen 560 was good for the price of 49 bucks but jeezus there's a difference here.  It's not that I'm drawing better, but it's a hell of a lot more enjoyable to draw period!

I have way more control over my pressure, my strokes, oh, also, it's a lot BIGGER, more precise..  I don't know how to explain it.  I'm loving it, though.  I'm not using the buttons on the side at all, my keyboard is fine for undo spam...

But the biggest difference is how well the pen just glides on the surface of the tablet.  It's great - the reason I didn't want a wacom bamboo tablet is because it's supposed to feel like paper.. but I suck at drawing on paper!

All in all, it's just made my drawing really enjoyable again.  No driver fuss either, since Wacom is actually good at drivers.  Not to diss Genius so much - they have great tablets for great prices, but Wacom is definitely the best.


Also, I've started using Google Chrome as my main browser.  Seems to work great and FAST!  A nice feature is that you can drag the input windows for comments and journals - in case you make long journals like these.  I can't wait for mouse gestures and adblock, though.. Kinda dying without them.


Moving on, my job sucks.  I'm applying elsewhere because I just got changed to a more permanent basis as a People Greeter until they hire more for night time.  I don't understand why entirely - I'm trained as a cashier and did well.  It's a lot of work drama, but all comes down to bad management by my immediate boss.   I simply don't want to be a People Greeter.  It's the most boring, un-fulfilling position at Wal-Mart - and the worst pay, too.  Not that I care that I'm making minimum wage, I'm glad to get money, but I really don't want to go into work tomorrow.

Even you, the watchers, can see when my art rolls in.  It's on my days off, and when I was sick.  I have little room for creativity and my schedule keeps me without free time.  Well, anyway.  I hope I can get a job doing something else soon.

I just ordered a Wacom Intuos3 6x8   NOW I'll start saving towards my future goals.

  It better be everything I hoped for!  OR ELSE!

I'm siiick.  Hopefully getting better..  missed 2 days of work now.

Anyway, my drawing style seems to be going nowhere fast - but I'm actually liking half the stuff I draw now, a first for me!

August sketch dump should at least be mildly entertaining, unlike the last one.
